We made an EP-- & released it! But then we stopped reproducing it cuz we want to do some alternate versions. So for now it's "limited edition." However, we do plan on re-releasing it soon! We're also working on a new CD Midge WELCOME TO THE POSTFUTURE!!!Plan is to release it this year!!!! Which is almost halfway over... Hey wait a minute. It's July 18, 2010.Let's see... They make original music, instead of all that formulaic crap coming out of wherever it comes out of these days, which is a mystery to Midge. Midge's music is GOSHDarn Good (based on unsolicited opinion polls of attendees, who tend to be smart, good-looking people). Midge is on hiatus recording new songs for their upcoming up-and-coming-soon-to-be-released-in 2011 CD-- MIDGE: Welcome To The PostfutureThey may also be "branding themselves," & writing a "Mission statement." New documents, identities/ hats/ hair-dos/ locales/ band name/"realities" aren't out of the question. Or they could enter the SpiritWorld & be trapped forever, which would be either really cool or a damn shame. No one knows for sure.In the meantime, hope you enjoy the tunes already on here. No nepotism or back-scratching.For one thing, it's unfortunately not possible, because no one's father or mother or grandfather was a director or actor or "poet" or "professor" or "Skipper" or cult leader or whatever. Lisa hails from humble elementary-school teachers (they get really sick of kids before they come home everyday, in case you ever wondered) & her grandfather was a coal-miner. That's right; read it & weep!!! Lisa is a coal-miner's granddaughter.So Paltrow can stick it where she sticks her fake country roots-- AND so can Coldplay (unless they want Midge to open for them, in which case let midge know; they could use the money. Seriously. No hard feelings or anything). Also: speaking of Coldplay, WHY can only guys sound like girls nowadays, all whiney & sensitive & crampy & all, w/o being criticized. WHY, I ask you? (Sometimes I think the main thing the "women's movement" or *Women's Lib* did was to give men permission to express their feminine sides-- which makes you wonder howcome they bitch about it so much. Or maybe it explains it.) Where was I? oh yeah-Paul's parents were also both teachers, & he has a lot of non-celebrity musicians in the family (like pianists & drummers & flautists & clarinetists & violinists), & his grandfather was an engineer: A TRAIN engineer. For those of you who may be "wondering," I really have nothing against The GOOP. I have nothing in particular FOR her, but I have nothing AGAINST her, per se, either, This "WHOLE THING" started because around the time this site was put up, her "husband" (Mr.Chris Coldplay) did that interview where he STORMED off when he was asked about The Palt. So MIDGE thought that was funny & it just went from there. Paltrow's the one who keeps escalating the "class warfare" and "singing at the Oscars." (I swear by all that's holy, I've never actually seen/heard her yet, so i can't really comment other than to roll my eyes vaguely.) Midge tells me they would just as soon rise above "all that's transpired" & let bygones be bygones. The ball's in GOOP'S court. Hopefully she will do the upper-classy thing & produce Midge's CD with her state-of-the-art studio & budget.See Yas!
